OPN Chat (opnchat.net) is an independent web application and is not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Meta Platforms, Inc., WhatsApp LLC, OpenChat DAO, OpenAI, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. The official WhatsApp website can be found at whatsapp.com. The names "WhatsApp", "OpenChat", "Open Chat", as well as related names, marks, emblems, and images are registered trademarks of their respective owners.
OPN Chat provides a convenient interface for opening WhatsApp conversations using the official wa.me link protocol. This is the same as manually typing a wa.me URL into your browser address bar — we simply make it faster and easier. OPN Chat does not intercept, read, store, or modify any messages sent through WhatsApp. All communication happens directly between your device and WhatsApp's servers.
OPN Chat does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. Phone numbers you enter are used solely to generate a wa.me link and are optionally saved in your browser's localStorage for your convenience (recent numbers feature). No data is ever sent to our servers or any third party. You can clear your history at any time using the "Clear" button in the app or by clearing your browser data.
This utility is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We make no guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. Use of the service is at your sole risk.
